This unique continuing education experience will include a review of a research study on the effects of The Pictures Exchange Communication System® (PECS®) and Pivotal Response Training (PRT) on spoken language. Participants will read the full article and watch a 90-minute recorded session with one of the authors, Aubyn Stahmer, and the co-developers of PECS, Andy Bondy and Lori Frost. During the session, the presenters discussed the research, and responded to participant questions. After the presentation, participants will complete a short quiz related to the contents of the article and subsequent discussion. Upon completion of all requirements, participants are eligible for 2.5 BACB CEUs, IBA CEUs and 0.25 ASHA CEUs.
